The product takes its inspiration from papyrus, invented around 4000 years before Christ by the ancient Egyptians who guarded the secret of its manufacture very closely. |
Papyrus is made out of thin strips cut from the stems of the papyrus plant, which are then soaked in water for three days until they become light-coloured. |
Impronta Ceramiche has faithfully reinterpreted rolls of papyrus by using Almatec technology, creating a totally unique product. |
